Holdaway Avenue
An elevated deck balustrade in native bush, where the glass is doing real barrier duty over a serious drop and still disappears into the ferns.
This is what a bush-site balustrade should look like. The deck runs out over a gully of punga and native bush, so the barrier is genuinely holding people back from a drop, not just tidying an edge. That means the glass grade, the fixings and the setout all have to be right before anything looks good.
Frameless panels on slim stainless fixings keep the entire canopy in view from the deck and from inside the house. From below, the deck reads as a clean dark line in the trees rather than a fenced-off platform.
