The job

A tight urban site with neighbours close on both sides. The answer was aluminium: full-height white slat screening around the boundary for privacy, a compliant pool barrier in the same finish so the whole enclosure reads as one system, and a slatted pergola over the spa end.

Powder-coated aluminium holds its colour and shrugs off the weather, and because the slats are vertical there is nothing for a child to climb. The result is a courtyard that feels private and finished rather than fenced.
