Calliope Road
Frameless glass pool fencing and deck balustrade through a mature subtropical garden, where the brief was to lose the barrier and keep the palms.
Calliope Road sits among established nikau and banana palms, and the owners did not want a fence cutting the garden in half. Frameless glass was the obvious answer: a compliant pool barrier that reads as almost nothing, so the planting stays the feature from every angle.
The job runs from the poolside barrier out onto the timber deck, with glass carried along the top of the existing timber boundary fence to keep the sightlines open without losing privacy. Every panel is Grade A toughened safety glass on slim stainless spigots, set out so the gaps and heights meet Clause F9.
